Apparently the property is somewhere in the Central Area of Abuja and was originally allocated to an NGO started by Turai Yar’Adua , The Registered Trustee of Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation, WYEF.
After Yar’Adua died and Jonathan became president, the property was revoked by the new FCT minister and re-awarded to Dame Patience Jonathan for the construction of a secretariat of the First Ladies Peace Mission. Ghen Ghen!!!
The Attorney General of the Federation has asked the court handling the case to discontinue further hearing on the case to prevent further embarrassment to the Federal Government.
Turai has been promised any alternative property of her choice in the business district in the FCT as compensation.
The way it looks Turai might be the one parking well at the end of the day, as we all know how powerful Patience now is.
